Iran deputy FM reacts to Trump’s post about Hormuz strait allegedly belonging to US

Iran has responded to US President Donald Trump’s social media post, which depicted the Strait of Hormuz and contained an inscription about the alleged ownership of this important waterway by the US.

“Just as Trump correctly spelled the name of the eternal Persian Gulf, his delusion about the Strait of Hormuz will soon either be corrected, or we [i.e. Iran] will correct the delusions of this misguided person,” Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi wrote on X.
