Official Yerevan is ready to continue negotiations despite Baku’s new conditions. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated at a joint press conference with his Iranian counterpart Seyed Abbas Araghchi.

Answering the question about what Yerevan should do in conditions when after the statement on agreeing the text of the draft peace agreement with Baku the Azerbaijani side voices new conditions and spreads misinformation about border violations, Mirzoyan stated that there was no confirmation of readiness to start discussing the terms and place of signing the document from Azerbaijan, on the contrary, they started putting forward conditions from there.

“What to do? We should continue to work, negotiate, look for worthy solutions to ensure lasting peace,” the minister believes. According to him, there is still no understanding where and when the signing of the document is possible.

We are ready to get involved in the process as soon as possible, Ararat Mirzoyan added.
