White House accuses Nobel Committee of politicizing Peace Prize

The Nobel Committee proved they place politics over peace, White House Communications Director Steven Cheung wrote on X, as he commented on the awarding of this year’s Nobel Peace Prize to Venezuelan political and social figure Maria Corina Machado.

Cheung noted that US President Donald Trump “will continue making peace deals, ending wars, and saving lives.”

“He has the heart of a humanitarian, and there will never be anyone like him who can move mountains with the sheer force of his will,” Cheung added.

As reported earlier, Maria Corina Machado was announced as the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize laureate.
