US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth provided an update on the health condition of Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, saying he is alive, but “wounded and likely disfigured,” the Daily Express US reports.
“He is believed to be alive, but he is wounded and likely disfigured. His condition remains the same,” the Pentagon chief said.
Hegseth had previously announced several times as well that Mojtaba Khamenei was wounded, but Iran officially denies these reports.
