UN special rapporteur on Palestine urged medics around the world to cut ties with Israel

UN Special Rapporteur on Palestine Francesca Albanese has called on health workers around the world to sever ties with Israel as a direct response to the destruction of Gaza’s health care system.

“I urge health workers around the world to sever all ties with Israel as a concrete way to violently condemn Israel’s total destruction of the Palestinian health care system in Gaza, a critical tool in the ongoing genocide,” Albanese wrote on social media X.

Israeli troops continue to bomb and set fire to hospitals in the Gaza Strip. They also detained medics from Kamal Adwan Hospital.

The Israeli army said their actions are related to the fight against the Palestinian group Hamas.
