Trump: Netanyahu halted the Gaza war because the world was about to stop him

In an interview with TIME, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stopped the war in Gaza because “the world was about to stop him.”

“He had to stop because the world was about to stop him. You know, I was watching what was happening… Israel was becoming very unpopular. And that’s what I meant when I said ‘peace.’ There are many forces, meaning forces from outside the region,” Trump said.
