Russia MFA spox: Armenia parliament elections accompanied by unprecedented pressure on opposition

The parliamentary elections in Armenia were accompanied by unprecedented pressure on the opposition, Russian foreign ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said on Sputnik radio.

“The [parliamentary] elections [in Armenia] were accompanied by unprecedented pressure on the opposition by the authorities,” Zakharova said. She added that these elections were held under conditions of “unprecedented Western interference.”
