Arthur Chilingarov, scientist and State Duma deputy, dies

Russian State Duma deputy, Arctic and Antarctic researcher Artur Chilingarov has died at the age of 84, Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said, TASS reports.

“A remarkable man, our colleague – Artur Nikolaevich Chilingarov – has passed away,” Volodin said, as quoted by the Duma press service.
