Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the founder and CEO of the Newsmax media holding of the US, Christopher Ruddy, the PM’s office informs.
The premier welcomed the recent increase in Newsmax’s interest in Armenia, and highlighted initiatives aimed at developing cooperation between Armenian and American media, emphasizing that this is a new opportunity to deepen mutual understanding and trust between the two countries.
In the context of the meeting, it was emphasized that the relations between Armenia and the United States are currently at a high level and are based on universal values of democracy, human rights, peace, and security.
Christopher Ruddy noted that Newsmax is interested in covering Armenia’s political, economic, and regional processes. He stated that the aforesaid media holding values the Armenian government’s steps toward peace and stability and is ready for effective cooperation in the information sector.
The interlocutors also discussed opportunities for cooperation in expanding Armenia’s presence in the international information environment, enhancing the effectiveness of state communication, and combating disinformation.
