Putin responds to Trump’s ‘Board of Peace’ invitation

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he received a personal invitation from his US counterpart Donald Trump to join the “Board of Peace.” TASS report.

Putin instructed the Russian foreign ministry to study the proposal and consult with partners, after which Russia will respond.

The Russian president believes that it is important that the Gaza process has a positive impact on the settlement of the Middle East conflict.

Putin announced that Russia is ready to invest $1 billion in the “Board of Peace” from its funds frozen in the US.

The president added that Russia is discussing with the US the use of frozen Russian assets for the reconstruction of territories after the war with Ukraine, and confirmed that he plans to meet with US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner on Thursday.
