Azerbaijani foreign minister Jeyhun Bayramov accepts the possibility of his country’s trade with Armenia.
“Azerbaijani oil products were delivered to Armenia a few days ago,” Bayramov recalled at a press conference on the results of the passing year.
He noted that nothing like this has happened between Armenia and Azerbaijan since their independence in 1991. “Therefore, we are now creating something from scratch. Armenia’s request concerned oil products, and the Azerbaijani side accepted it,” added the Azerbaijan FM.
Jeyhun Bayramov believes that trade between Armenia and Azerbaijan is possible in other domains, too. “We cannot talk about military trade between the two countries, but trade in other sectors is possible. These processes can proceed in accordance with our expectations,” said the Azerbaijani foreign minister.
