Armenia economic activity index up 7.1% in January-August 2025

Armenia’s economic activity index increased by 7.1 percent in January-August 2025 compared to the same period last year, the Ministry of Finance reports.

During the same period, Armenia’s trade went up by 3.9 percent, construction—by 20.4 percent, and the services sector—by 10.2 percent.

But industry decreased by 7.8 percent, exports—by 48.8 percent, and imports—by 34.9 percent.
