Putin: We highly appreciate efforts of China, India aimed at resolving Ukraine crisis

Russian President Vladimir Putin hopes that the “understandings” reached during his talks with US President Donald Trump in Alaska will contribute to the resolving of the Ukrainian crisis, TASS reports.

“We [i.e. Russia] highly appreciate the efforts and proposals of China, India, and our other strategic partners aimed at contributing to the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis. I hope that the understandings reached at the recent Russian-American summit in Alaska will also work in the same direction, paving the way for peace in Ukraine,” Putin said, speaking at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Tianjin, China.
