4 people, including serviceman, arrested in Azerbaijan on espionage charges

Four people have been arrested in Azerbaijan on charges of espionage; among them is a serviceman, the Telegram account Maiden Tower reports.

The Azerbaijani State Security Service has detained Ilkin Ganbarov and Vusal Aghayev—a serviceman, who are suspected of collaborating with foreign special services.

Two others, Tural Aliyev and Mammed Sharifov, were arrested in Jordan and Turkey, and returned to Azerbaijan.
