The Government has approved the procedure for registering economic entities, terminating registration, and issuing health certificates in the Trade Control and Expert System (“TRACES”) for the purpose of exporting fish or fish products from the Republic of Armenia to European Union member states.<\/p>\n
The documents required for registration in the European Union’s Trade Control and Expert System must be submitted to the Inspectorate Body for Food Safety.<\/p>\n
The economic entity must electronically submit an application to the official email address of the Inspectorate Body ([email\u00a0protected], [email\u00a0protected])\u2014or in hard copy if electronic submission is impossible\u2014attaching the following documents:<\/p>\n
A copy of the legal entity registration certificate<\/p>\n
The layout diagram of the area and photographs of the main buildings<\/p>\n
Information regarding safety management systems<\/p>\n
An approved plan of procedures based on Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) principles (not applicable to fish farms)<\/p>\n
A laboratory examination report on water quality (applicable to organizations storing fish or fish products, if processing is also carried out in addition to storage)<\/p>\n
The type of production (brief description)<\/p>\n
The names, types of activities carried out, and locations (address, telephone number, and email address) of all separate subdivisions operating within the economic entity<\/p>\n
Information regarding territories and infrastructures: production areas, processing zones, equipment used, and storage capacities<\/p>\n
Information regarding the types of fish or fish products bred, processed, or kept for storage purposes<\/p>\n
FEACN (Foreign Economic Activity Commodity Nomenclature) codes of the product presented for export<\/p>\n
Annual production volumes and capacity (kg, tons, pieces)<\/p>\n
Information on the type of fish farms (commercial open-water or closed system, raceway, combined, or other; not applicable to fish product manufacturing or storage organizations)<\/p>\n
Information regarding the source of water used (not applicable to fish product manufacturing or storage organizations)<\/p>\n
Information regarding the feed and feed additives used (not applicable to fish product manufacturing or storage organizations)<\/p>\n
Information regarding animal disease prevention, monitoring, and veterinary control (not applicable to fish product manufacturing or storage organizations)<\/p>\n
Information regarding waste management (applicable to organizations storing fish or fish products, if processing is also carried out in addition to storage)<\/p>\n
Information regarding drainage and treatment systems (applicable to organizations storing fish or fish products, if processing is also carried out in addition to storage)<\/p>\n
State registration identification accounting number (applicable to organizations storing fish or fish products, if processing is also carried out in addition to storage)<\/p>\n
Within five working days after the examination of the documents, an inspection will be carried out at the applicant’s premises to verify compliance with the registration requirements and the reliability of the submitted documents.<\/p>\n
As part of the inspection, sampling will be conducted to determine the compliance of the manufactured products with the requirements established by the legislation of the European Union and the Republic of Armenia through laboratory testing.<\/p>\n
The inspection will be carried out within 10 to 15 working days.<\/p>\n
If no non-compliances are detected, the information regarding the economic entity will be registered in the system and submitted to the European Commission for approval.<\/p>\n
The applicant will be notified of the approval via email and provided with a registration number, after which the economic entity creates its account to log into the system.<\/p>\n
Registration in the “TRACES” system is permanent and has no expiration date.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
