“Vessels that are influenced by the words of \u200cthe Americans and enter \u200bunsafe \u200croutes will \u2060certainly face accidents,” \u2060the Guards warned in \u200ca \u200bstatement.<\/p>\n
It comes as the US launched fresh airstrikes on Iran after two American service members were killed in an Iranian drone and missile attack on a base in Jordan.<\/p>\n
US Central Command said the operation late on Saturday was intended to \u201cswiftly punish\u201d the IRGC.<\/p>\n
Iran earlier said it was suspending its commitments under an initial peace agreement with the US, accusing Washington of violating the deal through its continued military campaign.<\/p>\n
In a statement attributed to Mojtaba Khamenei and broadcast on state television, Iran\u2019s supreme leader declared Trump\u2019s signature on the accord \u201cworthless and invalid\u201d and warned the US of \u201cunforgettable lessons\u201d if it continued attacking the Islamic Republic.<\/p>\n

Jordan has not ordered evacuation of Aqaba airport or seaport, gov’t spokesperson says Jordanian authorities have not issued any decision on Sunday to \u2060evacuate the airport or seaport in Aqaba, the government’s spokesperson told Reuters, after the US embassy in Amman said they had been \u2060evacuated due to \u200ba credible \u2060threat.<\/p>\n
“No potential threats have been recorded by the relevant Jordanian authorities \u2060in the past few hours,” government spokesperson \u200bMohammad \u2060Al-Momani told Reuters in \u200ca written statement. “The airport and port are operating normally.”<\/p>\n
The US embassy had said \u200cthe airport and seaport \u200cwere evacuated due to a “specific and credible threat”, without providing further details.<\/p>\n
It advised Americans to refrain \u2060from travelling to either location and to continue to follow all security directives issued by Jordanian authorities.<\/p>\n
The US military said on Saturday that two of its personnel were killed in Jordan and another was \u200cmissing after an Iranian attack.<\/p>\n
Over the \u200blast week, Jordan has repeatedly \u200csaid that it \u2060has intercepted Iranian missiles flying over its \u2060territory. <\/p>\n
