Garo Paylan, an Armenian former member of the Turkish parliament, on Tuesday announced this during the international Orbeli Forum being held in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia<\/p>\n<p>  \u201cHow can peace be achieved? Through pressure? They have tried for 120 years. It hasn\u2019t worked. People on both sides of the border do not know each other and exchange rhetoric of hatred,\u201d Paylan said.<\/p>\n<p>  He noted that now Armenia and Azerbaijan communicate with each other directly, without intermediaries, and Armenian and Turkish officials are speaking directly with each other.<\/p>\n<p>  \u201cThis is a dream that has come true. Armenia won the [first Nagorno-Karabakh] war in the 1990s, but did not win peace. In the second Karabakh war, Azerbaijan won, but will Azerbaijani leaders have enough wisdom so that they can also win in peacebuilding?
