Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs has been found guilty on two out of five counts in his high-profile sex-trafficking trial, but acquitted of the most serious charge of racketeering.<\/p>\n
After more than 12 hours of deliberations on Monday and Tuesday, the jury informed Judge Arun Subramanian that it was in agreement over four of the five counts \u2013 two each of sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. <\/p>\n
However, the eight men and four women on the jury said there were members \u201cwith unpersuadable opinions on both sides\u201d concerning the final, most serious charge: racketeering conspiracy. <\/p>\n
After around an hour of further deliberation on Wednesday morning, jurors informed the court that they had reached a decision on the final count.<\/p>\n
Combs was arrested in September 2024 as federal authorities alleged he threatened, abused, and coerced victims \u201cto fulfill his sexual desires\u201d between 2004 and 2024. He has denied any accusations of wrongdoing.<\/p>\n
Combs faces up to life in prison if he is convicted on the RICO charge, another statutory minimum sentence of 15 years if found guilty of sex trafficking, while transportation to engage in prostitution typically carries a maximum sentence of 10 years.<\/p>\n
