The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry lashed out at the French president for his \u201cunconstructive\u201d comments about Iran during his meeting with the Israeli premier in Paris, Tasnim reported.<\/p>\n
In a statement on Friday evening, Nasser Kanaani deplored the repetition of \u201cunconstructive\u201d statements by French officials.<\/p>\n
He said French President Emmanuel Macron\u2019s meeting with prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel, \u201cwhich is known in the world as the embodiment of the ominous phenomenon of organized terror, violence, carnage and displacement of oppressed women and children in West Asia, including Palestine, deserves to be deplored and censured.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kanaani added that the French president criticizes Iran’s peaceful nuclear activities at a time when he has apparently forgotten that Israel has dozens of nuclear warheads, but does not tolerate any international oversight and, having a dark record of occupation and military aggression, is the gravest threat to regional and international peace and security.<\/p>\n
The spokesman stressed that it would be appropriate for France to make the world aware of how Israel\u2019s \u201cterrorism accessed nuclear arms instead of expressing fake concern about Iran\u2019s peaceful nuclear activities that are under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency,\u201d Iranian the foreign ministry\u2019s website reported.<\/p>\n
Kanaani advised the French officials to correct their wrong approach, return to the principle of mutual respect, and stop damaging bilateral ties.<\/p>\n
