The United Nations reports that at least 100 children have been killed or injured in Gaza every day since Israeli strikes resumed on March 18.
“Nothing justifies killing children,” Philippe Lazzarini, head of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA), wrote on social media X.
“Israel is turning besieged territory into off-limits territory for children, and young lives are being cut short in a war that was not started by children. This is a stain on our common humanity,” he added.
