Russia sends Turkey a request in connection with complaints of Russian tourists about an unknown virus
Rospotrebnadzor has sent a request to the Ministry of Health of Turkey to provide information against the background of complaints of Russian tourists about an unknown virus, the situation is under control. This was reported to journalists in the press service of the agency, reports TASS.
“Rospotrebnadzor specialists have taken control of reports about mass complaints of Russian tourists about an unknown virus in Turkish Belek. The agency requested information on the current situation in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding between Rospotrebnadzor and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey on cooperation in the field of tourist health protection and combating infectious diseases,” the report said.
The document provides for prompt exchange of information and assistance in conducting epidemiological investigations in case of infections.
Rospotrebnadzor reminded that as preventive measures it is necessary to observe the rules of personal hygiene, drink bottled or boiled water, avoid contact with people with signs of respiratory and intestinal infections.
