Qatar reserves the right to respond to Iran’s actions, Qatar’s Foreign Ministry said. The foreign ministry also said that Qatari and foreign military personnel were evacuated in advance from the U.S. base hit by the Iranian missiles.
Qatar’s Defense Ministry said the Iranian strikes caused no casualties or injuries.
Qatar’s air defense forces successfully repelled the Iranian missile attack, the defense ministry said.
The U.S. Embassy in Qatar on Monday urged American citizens to take refuge in shelters until further notice, according to a statement on the embassy’s website.
