The name of the candidate for the new speaker of the Armenian parliament will be known today, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced during a press briefing Thursday.
Pashinyan informed that a meeting of the ruling Civil Contract party will be held today, during which one of the three candidates in circulation will be selected by closed, secret ballot, after which his name will be announced.
According to the premier, they will listen to the candidates and make a decision, and he and his colleagues will make their choice by secret ballot.
