From now on, we plan to invite up to two or more global stars to Armenia annually, which is also in the logic of tourism development. Economy minister Gevorg Papoyan on Monday told this to reporters at the National Assembly of Armenia.

“With such events, for example, our neighboring Georgia has developed this sector very well. Tourists also follow their star, and let’s say they don’t have time to go to the concert in Athens, they know that, let’s say, in two months it will be in Yerevan, they come to the concert in Yerevan. But this should be like this, not from time to time, let’s say, every five to six years, but the country itself should be on such a map,” added the Armenian economy minister.

Papoyan, however, declined to name which global star will come to Armenia this year.
