French National Assembly member Michele Tabarot made a post on X on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, and called on France and Europe to support Armenia.
“1.5 million lives wiped out. A wounded people, but standing tall and proud, who still today fight courageously for their survival in the face of the warmongering threats from Azerbaijan and Turkey. France and Europe must stand with Armenia more than ever,” Tabarot wrote.
This year marks the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Every year on April 24, hundreds of thousands of Armenians silently march to the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan, and lay flowers in memory of the approximately 1.5 million victims of this tragedy.
