According to the results of 2025, the revenues of the state budget of Armenia amounted to 2.886 trillion drams—an increase of 11% compared to 2024, and expenditures reached 3.3 trillion drams. Minister of finance Vahe Hovhannisyan announced this during the debates on approving the report on the implementation of the 2025 state budget of Armenia at Tuesday’s session of the National Assembly.
The state budget deficit for 2025 was recorded at 3.7% of the GDP, and Armenia’s external debt amounted to $14.531 billion as of the end of the year.
The main indicators of the implementation of the 2025 state budget of Armenia are as follows:
Revenues: 2 trillion 886 billion 500 million drams—increase compared to 2024 indicators: 307 billion drams.
Expenditures: 3 trillion 300 billion drams.
Deficit: 3.7% of GDP.
External debt: 14 billion 531 million dollars—as of December 31, 2025)
Macroeconomic growth: the economy grew by 7.1%—average annual growth in 2021-2025 was 7.9%.
