In an exclusive interview with Armenian News – NEWS.am, Former Trump National Security Adviser John Bolton addressed the question of whether Turkey and Azerbaijan are being pushed to join the ongoing war against Iran.
Speaking to the “Factor of Power” talk show, Bolton stated that “it is in the common interest of everybody in the region to see the regime in Iran overthrown.”
At the same time, he criticized former U.S. President Donald Trump for what he described as a lack of coordination with allies.
“I think Trump made a mistake by not consulting with friends and allies in advance – not necessarily to describe the exact details or the timing of this operation, but to say that we think it’s time to take some decisive action and get them on board before the war began, not after,” Bolton said.
