Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with UN General Assembly President Annalena Baerbock.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the role of the UN in ensuring the effectiveness of the international system and multilateral cooperation, as well as on the challenges existing in this regard.
Ararat Mirzoyan emphasized that in these difficult times for multilateralism, Armenia continues to support effective cooperation which has the United Nations and the Charter’s fundamental principles at its core, as well as the implementation of the 2030 Agenda.
Minister Mirzoyan and the GA President emphasized the importance of the initialed Peace Treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and agreements reached in the Trilateral declaration of Washington DC.
Minister Mirzoyan wished Annalena Baerbock success in her further activities as President of the General Assembly.
