Armenia, Russia, Ukraine nationals detained in Germany on suspicion of espionage

An Armenian, a Russian, and a Ukrainian citizen were detained in Germany on suspicion of espionage, said the office of the German Federal Prosecutor, reports Bild. Three men were detained Friday in Frankfurt am Main.

The name of the Ukrainian national is Robert A., that of the Russian citizen is Arman S., and the name of the Armenian national is Vardges I.

They were gathering information for a foreign intelligence service. In particular, the suspects monitored the cafe where a Ukrainian citizen who was their target spent time. The three detainees have been sent to the investigative isolation cell.
