Armenia is cooperating very closely and actively within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at Thursday’s Cabinet session of the Armenian government.

“We [i.e. Armenia] will continue this work because we are not guided by the assumption that something irreversible has happened there and that we should no longer look in that direction,” Pashinyan added.

Also, he expressed a conviction that solutions will be found.

“If there are no solutions, it means something completely different, first of all for the Eurasian Economic Union. I would like to remind that the Eurasian Economic Union is based on several conceptual provisions: free movement of labor, goods, services, and finance. If that is not there, it means that the Eurasian Economic Union does not exist. And the Eurasian Economic Union should say directly, or with a hint, to this question: does it exist or not? We [i.e. Armenia] say that it exists, and we, as a participating state, believe that some kind of misunderstanding has occurred. If the Eurasian Economic Union says, ‘You know what? I don’t exist anymore.’ Well, if they don’t exist, what can we do?” the Armenian premier noted.
