It is very good that Turkey is our largest neighbor, at least economically, in terms of its GDP; we have the chance to open the border. Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan stated this at a press conference Friday—and addressing the question of under what conditions and when Armenia’s border with Turkey will be opened.
“I hope there will be positive good news about this in the near future,” the minister said.
Armenia’s Margara Bridge is already fully ready for the opening of the Turkish border. All conditions have been created there to fully provide both customs and border guard services.
