The Armenian authorities have violated the principles of the Constitution in the most brutal way to justify their actions, Ambassador Dzyunik Aghajanyan said in an interview with Armenian News-NEWS.am.
“The authorities are called to preserve the laws and the Constitution. But today’s [Armenian] authorities have violated these principles in the most brutal way throughout the independent [Armenia’s] history, and ‘bent’ them in all possible and impossible ways for their own plans, to justify their actions. The Constitution should be subjected to amendments from time to time, but they should be done in favor of the protection of the nation and of interests. The authorities should refrain from actions that could shake the foundations of our statehood, and prevent foreign problems from penetrating into our Constitution,” Aghajanyan added.
